Hagas is an American hard rock / metal band formed in 1998. Hailing from Tampa, Florida, Hagas was founded by Vocalist/Guitarist Jake Jukas and Drummer Ray Fasani.
Hagas quickly becam a fixture in the Tampa music scene and known for their intense performances. Their music ranged from dark and moody to to angst ridden and punk fueled. Their three-piece delivery and standard tuned approach flew in the face of 7 string and downtuned trends of other bands of the time.
Their 98' , 99' debut release "Afterforever" quickly sold out of initial pressing within months and garnered exellent reviews from local music magazines. That would be their only "official" release. The following EPs "Punisher Vols 1 & 2" would be released at live performances and made available for download only.
Hagas's music went on to be featured in independant films such as "Memento Mori" and "The Preview Zone". Both were films from Sensible Putty productions. The Preview Zone is still available from NetFlix.
